14 Days with Kilimanjaro and Serengeti

Overview

On this tour, you’ll first conquer the Roof of Africa on a 5 days trek through the Marangu Route before heading out to the bush. The jewel in the crown! The Serengeti in Tanzania is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world. With countless predators including lion, cheetah, leopard, more than two million wildebeest, half a million Thomson’s gazelle, and a quarter of a million zebra, it has the greatest concentration of wildlife on our planet.

Experience a unique spectacle, the great migration between late December and March, witness it during the calving season. Between May and July you might witness the thousands of wildebeest and zebras and their newborn crossing crocodile-infested Grumeti River. From August to October, they move to the remote Northern Serengeti crossing Mara River, equally populated with giant Nile crocodiles. Zanzibar is famously known as the Spice Island all over the world. Pepper, cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, cardamom, nutmeg and many more spices are found here. Naturally, many great and often exceptional restaurants are to found on the island, making this one of the culinary hot spots in all of Africa.
